Statistical Societies

The Royal Statistical Society: The Society provides a forum for all who are interested in statistics. It has over 7200 members, and has its headquarters located in London.

American Statistical Association: The American Statistical Association (ASA) is a scientific and educational society founded in 1839 with the following mission: To promote excellence in the application of statistical science across the wealth of human endeavor.

International Statistical Institute: The Institute was established in 1885 and is an autonomous society, which seeks to develop and improve statistical methods and their application through the promotion of international activity and co-operation.

Statisticians in the Pharmaceutical Industry: PSI is a non-profit organisation formed in 1977, which provides a forum for regular discussion of statistics and matters relating to the practice of statistics in the pharmaceutical industry, as well as promoting Good Statistical Practice within the industry.
